Our real estate division provides advisory services to real estate developers and project owners within the framework of their real estate operations, in the different real estate sectors (offices, the light industry sector, shopping centers, housing). This specific know-how, ranging from the acquisition of land to comprehensive sales of buildings or to sales subsequent to the creation of a co-ownership (a commonhold or condominium), requires an analysis of the planning constraints, of the environmental issues and excellent command of the entire process in order to anticipate right from the acquisition phase those issues which are likely to arise when reselling the real estate.

The main legal practice areas of the division are:

  • Legal and tax structuring of transactions and selection of the appropriate structures,
  • Drafting and negotiation of the different contracts necessary for the property mastery in respect of the projects and for their achievement,
  • Drafting and negotiation, possibly in partnership with the other consultants of the client, of the contracts necessary to the marketing, sale and rental of projects.

This division also provides assistance to institutional clients, real estate dealers, and families owning buildings and which intend to create a co-ownership in view of performing split sales thereof, which transactions require a grasp of more and more complex regulations, in connection in particular with the protection of residential tenants. This requirement has induced C&C Notaires to select specialized associates and experienced notaries.
